    Good software

Just to let ya all know about a great app
Audiograbber which used to cost has now become free as of ebruary of this year
I used to use this quite some time back and liked it alot
    http://www.audiograbber.com-us.net/

He has made some coin and I guess wants to give back

"On February 9, 2004 Audiograbber will be released as freeware. When I sold my other cd-ripper AudioCatalyst to Xing I signed a contract which has not allowed me to release Audiograbber as freeware but on February 9, 2004 that contract expires. It has been a great journey and experience making Audiograbber and it has paid off well so now I feel it is time to give something back to the "Internet and MP3 community" so freeware it will be.

Dammit. I paid for that software.

Well, I guess I'll never have to buy an upgrade.

One of the tuning apps that I use just did a form of 'giving back.' They're making a new wideband module for their software but not making creating pre 1999 model compliant software to go with it. But, they are releasing the code to third parties and offering it free to develope. Pretty cool for $200-400 software.
