For you Kerry supporters....
"Lieutenant Governor: No-Show Kerry Should Quit Senate
Sen. John Kerry is still on the American taxpayers' dole for a job he refuses to do, and his state's lieutenant governor says enough is enough.
Massachusetts Lt. Gov. Kerry Healey notes that the presidential candidate has missed too many votes and has not represented constituents.
According to the Associated Press, Kerry has bothered to vote only 14 times out of the Senate's 112 votes this year."

That seems really awful. Stil, in the sake of fairness, what are the voting records of most senators? Do they look like this as well?

Yes, but the anti-Bush-ites are always speaking out about Bush's campaigning, instead of running the Presidency.
Regardless of which side, where does it say ANYWHERE that "during an election campain, electees are excused from their normal duties"???????

Yup, My senator (shudder) has not represented me 87 times this year. Looking at the bright side, we still have Fat Ted.

Yeah, when Bush ran the for the first term he almost never campaigned in Texas, which meant he was almost never here to do his job. Hell, he even stopped killing the inmates which was the only good thing he was even doing as governer up until then.

Just a ploy to try and gain a Senate seat without holding an election. Since Masachusettes now has a Republican governor if Kerry resigned a Republican would be appointed Senator.
The only senator in the last 100 years to resign while campaigining for President was Bob Dole who did it because he did not want to return to the senate if he lost the election for the Presidency.
The real issue here is the failure of the Republicans who control both houses and the Presidency to effectively run the country.

Me too.
This election is kind of like taking a dump, you just want to be over with as soon as you can.
