If you have norton antivirus, refer to the post above.
Otherwise we need ALOT more information about your machine.
If this happened during setup then read here
If not, test your ram extensively anyway
Other known suspects are network cards - UNINSTALL from Device Mangler FIRST!! the remove the card or if onboard disable and see if that improves things
