If Bush would really DO SOMETHING I might not be so hard on him. But he won't. He is in Saudi Arabias pocket. This was either a warning or blackmail towards the Saudis. They either want more money (since the Saudis fund most terrorist organizations) or they want the Saudis to kick the Americans out. (fyi 19 out of 20 hijackers on 9-11 were Saudis).
IHMO the terrorist want Bush to be re-elected. Bush has increased the ranks of the terrorists ten fold. He has given the terrorists what they wanted, an American target in the Mid-East. Iraq was not in play for the Islamists but now they think they have a chance to turn it to radical Islam. Osama has prayed for Bush to do just what he did.
At the same time the very existence of the corrupt Saudi family being supported by the U.S. is galvanizing opposition to us.
