    In particular, U.S. courts
    which boundaries [despite the Presidents wishes] do not cover the UK and Europe.

    But even ripping your own CD's is becoming harder, with all the digital rights and copy protection.

    My local Library loans out Music and other CD's and they put some sort of metallic strips on the cd to prevent copying.

    They loan out Music Cd's?? Arent they not supposed to do that, Copyright states cannot be distributed, loaned, etc. etc.,
    Maybe because its Alaska.

    I believe they have to buy a media licence from the appropriate board similar to those public houses purchase which covers audio and the videos [but not copying].

    This whole "Induce Act" has got to be the damn dumbest thing I've ever heard of. I swear the people who dream this stuff up have got to people complete damn morons.

    They do that in my state to , and audio tapes of books an such .

    Mine does that, too. Audio CDs, Books on Tape/CD, VHS Movies, DVD Movies, and Computer Programs (mostly games) all can be checked out for free.
