    Post memory failure?

    User is having multiple exceptions
    Failures are intermittent (balls)

    Null pointer error (Winword.exe)
    ditto (Kernel32.dll)
    ditto (oleaut32.dll)

Memory area does not exist (gdi.exe)
    ditto (explorer.exe)
    ditto (oleaut32.dll)
    ditto (kernel32.dll)

    Uninitailized variable (user.exe)

    Stack overflow (shlwapi.dll)

Occasional fatal exceptions in PNP Bios area
    (bios version most recent)
New memory has vastly reduced number of incidents, but not eliminated them entirely

user has downloaded from every damn site he ever visited!!!

    Any advice appreciated??

Thats alot of errors.I would tell the customer to back up there data and do a fresh install, you may take hours of work to solve a problem like that.Did you check the memory though?Check it first.Inform the customer of what they are doing wrong.Just my $.02

Try slaving the HDD to a working PC, copy all needed files and/or directories. Format and to a fresh Installation.
