Ruud won't be enough, but the boy's from Sweden who play in the FA and Scotland will be.

I keep changing my mind on this one. Should be a good game though, very closely matched sides. After the last 2 Q/F's I'm taking nothing for granted!

You've just got to love this tournament, it's the dogs b*****ks, just a shame we're out!

Yeah, after coming back from my "mild depression", I am into it again. Hey Titchski! Are you ordering any more matches?
It sucks being in America right now. I guess for the World Cup, I'll just have to shell out the $200 for the whole tourney.

BTW: you need to edit your original prediction:
"first to go into penalties" -eek-

Yeah, good point. I wont now hough because the match is taking place and if by some miracle I get the score correct I'll be accused of cheating! I'll quietly edit it later tomorrow!!

Damn G: what happened to all the firepower here? 0-0 draw into xtra time? Are they all playing scared now: obviously I can't tell via text updates from the BBC.
Geesh: I am going to have reconsider my predictions from now on....

You're half right. Sweden played for the draw, Holland went for it and should have won it over 90 minutes. Both had chances in extra time to bag the win.

You know what hurt during the game? One of the commentators said near the end that he'd still not seen any team good enough to take England out of the competition. Ouch.

Penalty win to Holland, (who lost the last 4 they played), and deservedly so.

Currently working on the league table, should be published by 11pm our time, (ie the correct time)!

Updated. AngryTech will take some beating with only 4 games left in the tournament.

Hey Trip, what're you doing for the 4th? I think I might get the final, invite the ex-pats round and cook some food, oh, and drink that homebrew thats still in the fridge. And don't even think about paying for the World Cup - they have the games on Fox Sportsworld - which I get for free. Oh, and its only two bloody months till the Premier League starts, which again, I get for free and which I'll also expect you round for on Saturday & Sunday & Monday afternoons. Can't you watch baseball or something to tide you over?

Wow, yeah AngryTech does seem to be pulling away a bit Gaz, hmm, if I get 4th do I qualify for the UEFA Cup Fantasy league?

Good idea, I feel more competitions coming soon. Maybe a selected game every week from the Premier league for a table running all season?

Doesn't the Torygraph run a fantasy league type thing? Or the Sun for that matter, I'll look into it a bit.

Alternatively, we could run a "who are Chelsea going to sign this week" league
