alien vs predator demo problem
I downloaded an alien vs predator demo from http://www.3dgamers.com and it was about 22.03 MB the problem is that after I unzipped it and double clicked its icon a thing popped up and said:
A Required .DLL file, SMACKW32.DLL was not found.
I am wondering how to fix this.
I am running windows 98 second edition with an ATI 128 mb video graphics accelerator.
by the way what is .DLL because I have seen this a lot, but don't know what it is?

Not your fault, Bob.
There were a few hours in between both threads being put up, and we both suggested the same resolution. ![](https://forums.windrivers.com/images/imported/2006/04/1.gif)
I looks like I'm disturbing the time-space continuum when I answer tech posts...
