    Question Clone a linux drive

Is it possible to put a linux drive into a win98 machine (2nd drive), and also a formatted drive (3rd drive), so that I could clone the linux drive to the formatted one?
I know its a long shot.

    Cheers,

    Saber

Ive used norton ghost and image magic.

I had one drive with windows 2k and the second drive as a blank drive.

Now on another machine I had linux installed and I ghosted the linux drive to a image and put it on another hard drive (an extra one we had)

I then hooked up the drive as a third drive to the first machine. I then used norton ghost to ghost back the image I saved on the 3rd drive onto the 2nd drive that was blank. This works, only LILO will not be ghosted with the image. Same with image magic.

So when you ghost it back. I went in with a slackware boot disk and setup lilo.

    This worked great.

Do you leak any fluids, do you have any bumps on your rear, do you have any unpleasant odors?
If you answered yes to any of these then you are not qualified to own a new AMD ATHLON XP.
If someone ask you if you are running the all-new fastest AMD ATHLON XP, just turn around and reply "WHY YES, AND ITS CERTIFIED"
