winxp wokstation does not appear unber network neighbourhood

anyone encountered this problem whereas a specific terminal does not show up under network neighbourhood?
This particular workstation is running on winxp pro sp1 & is logged into a w2k domain. The clients are running a mixture of win98se & winxp pro sp1.
This particular station does not appear in neighbourhood but it has no problem accessing or seeing other station in the domain. Also we can accessing this station via the unc naming format.
Any advise i can retify this problem?
    Thanks in advance

Check whether the xp firewall (or other firewall) is on if its not showing up in any other machine's network neighbourhood.

You say network neighbourhood, this implies 9x machines only have this problem. How about ME and 2k machines, do they see the machine under my network places?

XP doesn't have network neighbourhood, it has my network places. It does not work quite the same way as network neighbourhood.

Your last post appears to contradict your post before that.
