defrag slow ofter memory upgrade
I have just upgraded my memory from 128 to 256 mb and now when I do a defrag it takes even longer than it did with only 128mb.
It seems to take smaller chunck of data now than it did before, before it would load up a line and a half now it only loads a third of this..
Any Suggestions?

How full is your hard drive? If it's getting cramped, the defrag will be having to do a lot of shuffling to re-arrange the data. Adding more memory will make this worse, as the swapfile on the hard drive will then be larger, stealing even more space.

If you want to defrag your drive use DiskKeeper. Do not use anything else. Oh yeah, and switch those memory sticks so that the new one is in Slot0 and the old one is in slot1. Your problem is that you bought a non-matching stick.
