Windows Messenger
I hope someone here may have an idea bcus i have been unable to contact microsoft about this! I have Messenger 4 (http://messenger.microsoft.com) and when the program launches it freezes or i get the following error:

What operating system are you using? Did you sucessfully use a previous version of MSN Messenger before upgrading to this one?

Running 98SE i was using the previous version. MSN Messenger 3.6

I understand you need at least IE4 to use it.
I have upgraded MSN Messenger 3.6 on my Windows 98SE box to Windows Messenger 4.5 without any problems.
However, I figured that I'd better keep a backup copy of 3.6 - just in case. I've sent you the URL via private message - if anybody else wants/needs it, please send me a private message.
