Hi,
For the pb 1: Could you check the below option:
- Internet Option Under Tool menu
- Content then click on AutoComplete
See if all options are checked. If it's the case, then the file which store the passwords is corrupted. In this case, just rename all PWL extension files to OLD. Then log off and log on your computer to recreate a new one to see if it's working.
2nd pb: Just go to Internet Option and Programs tab. Under this option, you will be able to select the defaut app for HTML editor.
Note: If nothing is working then simply uninstall IE then reinstall it.
