Future Spider-Man movie villians

Nope. That was Rod Kingsley, then later Ned Leeds. At one point everyone thought it was Flash Thompson, but he was framed.

And also there were two others "Lefty" Donovan, who was sort of a henchman for Kingsley, who helped him steal a batch of the Green Goblin serum so he could go toe to toe with spidey, and put the mask on several times him. And also Jason Macendale, who was possessed by the entity that would later become the Demogoblin.

Hmm,.. this is a tough one. Lots ot discuss and such a tough choice. There's enough great writing material and characters to make 50 successful Spidey movies.

Based on what we've seen in the movies so far, it seems that they have setup Dr Connors as the Lizard and Harry Osborn as a possible Hobgoblin or Green Goblin 2 type of character. However, they probably know that we know this and it's all part of the ploy to throw us off track from what could be a big surprise.

Part 2 for a true believer was phenomenal to say the least. It rose far beyond my expectations and I expect part 3 will do the same. Stan Lee has been doing this for a long time and has not let me down yet in the story telling business.

Before I go on, I gotta say that I have recently heard that Tobey Maguire will 100% be on for part 3 as well as Sam Raimi and the rest. However, Maguire won't be able to be Spidey forever unfortunately.

So based on all that, here's how I think it's gonna go. They will do part 3, and it will have 2 villains. Having 2 villains is one of the only ways they will be able to top part 2. The villains will probably be Hobgoblin and Lizard to keep it simple.

Later down the road, they will begin to start working on a part 4 for around the 2010 time. This movie will feature an older Peter Parker. Maybe in his late 20's - early 30's. Different actor by then possibly. But this is the movie where they will bring on Venom. It all makes sense. It will give them time to develop Venom into the movie, they know the technology to make a Venom will be available by thenand it will give them room for parts 5 and 6 to develop a Carnage storyline. Meanwhile, during parts 4, 5 and 6 they will probably bring in more villains like Sandman and Vulture. It this all too far fetched? Too much movie making? Is Sam Raimi going to be the next George Lucas with this Spider-Man franchise? Only time will tell.

Oh,.. I forgot to mention that I think it would be really cool if they coincided a Venom movie with the release of part 3. Or even a DVD release to go along with it would be cool. Kinda a story enhancer. Of course this all depends on whether or not they can get past all the "rights" bs and allow Venom to even be in the story at all.

Well, I think the Lizard has the whole "human interest" thing covered. Spidey facing off against Dr. Connors is a good story, especially once he realizes the Lizard is in fact Dr. Connors. I'd love to see it play out on the big screen.

And Kraven always makes for a good story. Especially "Kraven's Last Hunt", where he buried Spidey alive.

I rather think those "2 villains" Wrrby refers to could very well be Kraven and Connors/Lizard, as the 2 characters find their origins so closely related - both are based on powers/mutations brought about with some sort of potion/serum.

Sam Raimi has already started working on SM3, according to superherohype.com.


Until then, I'll just have to catch SM2 again on IMAX.

ok, first of all i am amazed at the number of people who claim they are familiar with the spider-man franchise but in reality they dont know a thing so i'm here today give the real story about what will most likely be the future of the spider-man movies.

judging from what i have seen in the two movies, in #3 spider-man will face harry as the 2nd. green goblin and not the hobgoblin. dr connors will also be introduced as the lizard and might fight spider-man in #3 also. jameson's son will retire from nasa because of marry jane leaving him and his finnal mission will be to go to the moon. he will then collect a rock sample which will carry the symbiote (BY NOW YOU MUST BE THINKING OH GREAT THIS JUST ANOTHER NEWBE THAT THINKS JAMASON"S SON WILL BE VENOM)WELL GUESS AGAIN!! because on his way back the symbiote will awake and destroy the ship's landing gear. the ship will then crash and spidey will save the crew. there the symbiote will fuse with spidey. using the new suit he will fight harry and lizard. meanwhile eddie will be about to loose his job and jameson gives him one last shot to keep it
he will have to find out the identity of the lizard. well he discovers it and spidey stops him because he doesnt want him to ruin conner's life. so brock looses his job thus starting the eddie/spider-man feud.

in the last part of the movie he defeats the lizard, harry is put in a mental institute
(by the way this fight would have taken place in a church). but before the battle ends, the church bells will start ringing. knowing that the symbiote's only weekness is sound spider-man seizes the opportunity to sepparate him from the allien( now the allien developes hatred for peter)

eddie brock is at that very same church to beg for forgivness for hating spider-man until the symbiote finds its way to him and they become VENOM which will set up Venom Vs. Spider-Man in #4
then in #5 or #6 CARNAGE will make his long awaited debut

June 7, 2004 — A scooper for Dark Horizons tells the site that Sony wants director Sam Raimi to settle on a villain for Spider-Man 3. The most likely choices, according to the scooper, are "The Hobgoblin" or "Venom."

Spoiler: i know the set designer..and they are already working on building the sets for spiderman 3.here is what i have so far- 1]there are going to be 3 villians..read my lips.. 2]the green goblin 2[harry osborne], the lizardman[parkers handicapped professor] & venom[not brock...but jamesons son..the astronaut.later..parker gets infected with the symbiote venom] 3]harry osborne decides to take revenge from spiderman/peter parker for stealing m.j from him,killing his father and lying to him all the while about parkers actual identity. 4]*the set designers are building sets for a mars scene*.. astronauts land..this included jameson's son..who was ditched by mary jane(end of spiderman 2) for peter parker.he gets infected by the symbiote and passes it on to parker when they have a tussle after he gets back to earth..parker & spidey get infected by venom..and the comic book story cathes up here 5]the set for the mars scene is the same as "pitch black"..the red planet scene where riddick escapes.. 6]the green goblin 2 will be harry osborne..and he will do better than the actual one..he will get a new look ..somewhere between hobgoblin and green goblin..thats for sure..trust the source 7]the lizardman plot is similar to dr ocks plot from spidey 2..an experiment gone wrong..parker present..gets close to scientist/professor and ends up battling him as spiderman just because lizardman is crazier than dr ock,this is going 2 be a better fight some important notes::::::: SPIDERMAN 3 will have a battle within the villians itself.possibly...the astronaut [jameson's son..] will become the hob-goblin..team up with harry osborne..the green goblin 2.and end up getting killed by harry... harry then faces the parker as parker and tries to harm him..but the lizardman[who is parkers teacher and friend] saves him by beating the **** out of green goblin 2.. at that time..spidey gets infected by venom....defeats lizard and weakens him because he is still not normal....gets professor back to normal...then at the same time,,venom acts on him..then he deals with it..gets it off him and passes it away..and THIS LEADS TO SPIDERMAN 4..which will have spidey face venom as a different person..with a few other villians driector sam riami feels that he needs to do his job well on his last spiderman movie..spiderman 3..so he is packing all the juice and super villians in it..leaving spiderman 4 and its new directot needing a miracle to beat spidey 3...so email me if u want any more details...i will post more often

Yup,.. this is kinda what I was getting at in my last couple of posts. The storyline is going to start getting very complicated. However,.. I do believe that Hobgoblin will be in SM3 and not Green Goblin 2. Also,.. there is not a chance in hell that Stan Lee will pass up an opportunity to have a movie with Spider-Man AND Venom in it. AND just to add some iciing on the cake, throw in the Lizard and Hobgoblin. It would be the creme de' la creme of Hollywood motion pictures. Basically it would define Hollywood and movies forever after to have a movie like that come out.

As cool as it sounds to have Kraven in it,.. I just don't think it will happen. There hasn't been one single hint of that in either movie so far. I think it would be a great direction to take the series in, but they are already on a different path.

But who knows,..Anything can happen I suppose. I guess we'll just have to wait until 2007 now.

I highly doubt they're building sets seeing as there isn't even a script, and casting hasn't been done.

Sets are among the last thing done before filming actually begins.

I still say it'll be a cold day in hell before Venom shows up because of the whole rights deal. Besides, Raimi doesn't like him as a character, so as long as he's directing, there's no chance.

And no, there's been no hints to Kraven, but there were no hints toward Doc Ock in the first one.

I say Harry as GG2 and the Lizard are the most likely villians for three...but looking beyond that...
