    Post Boot Up

    On boot up of win95 get invalid system drive error, press any key, it is as if floppy in drive. Tried using win95 startup disk but nothing, any ideas??

    Try removing the drive or disabling in BIOS. Could be a problem with floppy or controller.

    One other thought, scan for virus.

    For this case, check your bios that if your hard disk is master one with which the system is booting up.

    Under MS DOS, try FDisk to check if there is any active partition if not put the 1st partition as the active one.

    If those above instructions are failed then just boot up the system with a booting disk then just type SYS C: then press enter.

    If it is worked then boot up your system with a clean boot disk then type fdisk /MBR.

    after these, it's not working then I'm afraid that you have to reinstall windows or your hard is failure.
