HELP with configuring the BIOS for a C&T 65550
Dear List
I need your help. I'm trying to change my BIOS settings for a Chips and Technologies 65550 chip (on an Adastra VNS686 motherboard) to run a 1024x768 LGPhilips LCD screen (I used to run a 800x600 IBM panel). I have the display running but I'm losing bit 0 for the red, green and blue channels which is affecting the way colours appear.
I have the BIOS editing program BMP550 but I can't figure out what I need to change to drive the screen properly. Any advice (or a BIOS file) would be much appreciated.
Cheers
Chris

Intel Mod
Hi Chris, welcome to WinDrivers
You're not trying to run 24 bit with 2M of video ram are you?
Because 21 bit 1024x768 is the most that will fit into 2M, which loses you one bit for each primary colour...
