    I just got a notice from IBIS and the thread was pulled off the ad-aware site. Check this out.

    Please cease and desist on your posts referring to IBIS toolbar as a virus. IBIS toolbar is a search assistant and labeling it a virus is damaging to our marketablility.     yeah, right That's why the computer it was on had pop-ups and ran like molasses in January!

    FYI After I sent the iso to Pest Patrol, I wiped the drive and reinstalled the OS. It was a pain in the butt, but it was the only way to get regedit to work properly again. (I could run it from CD, but not off the HD)
