    Translation wonders - funny

    Hi all,
    this is a very neat easter egg on google's translation engine - you might want to try...

    1. goto - http://www.google.com/language_tools?hl=en

    2. in the box Translate text , write: "my mom is nice and cool"

    3. choose "English to Spanish" and press translate.

    4. copy the answer ( the translated text ) again to the box Translate text.

    5. choose "Spanish to English" and press translate.

    I'm reminded of an ancient tale about a computer the CIA or somebody had way back for Russian to English translation. Apparently they fed it the English phrase "Out of sight, out of mind" , translated it into Russian and then back into English and got "Invisible idiot".

    I hope to god nobody uses machine translation for delicate diplomatic negotiations
