What happened to my icons?
Windows 2000 Server / Workstation network of about 200 clients. This morning, about half of the clients don't have icon graphics for their desktop icons.
Most of their icon graphics have changed to plain white boxes, or the generic window icon. The icons still work, and point to where they are supposed to. Since they still work, I'm not panicing, but I'm worried there's an underlying issue.
No real pattern to it. Random workstations here and there, but it all happened this morning. No security changes on the servers.
Any ideas?

Actually yes, and I am aware there were a few recently released.
Any known issues with them causing the icon problem?
FYI - A few of my workstations are stating to get their icon graphics back as the day goes on. Bizarre.

Over the span of the week, all the icons seemed to rebuild themselves.
