Handle is Invalid
Just recently when trying to execute a program from our network, I began getting an error dialog box that shows the network location of the program with dialog that says 'The handle is invalid'. Any Ideas?

If you check Microsoft TechNet, it shows a tremendous number of possible causes for this error message. What program are you trying to run? What is the operating system on the computer you are running? What operating system is the network running? What version? Are you using SQL server?

Actually, I checked MS Technet first and could not find anything relevant. We are running Novell 4.1 with Windows 95/98 clients. The executable I tried to run is Nwadmin.exe. Earlier this week I was able to run it, but just got this error yesterday.

I'm not sure if this applies in your case, but the following link may help:

It may relate to antivirus software that is running on your system. Has it recently been added or updated on your system?

Schultzz, Thanks for the tip. As a matter of fact, I had just upgraded Mcafee virusscan 4.0.1 to 4.0.2. After downloading and applying the service pack, everything ran fine. Thanks again.
