    TV's are dangerous, monitors over overhyped. Besides you can't put a price on the satisfaction of fixing something that you think you know nothing about.

    Besides I think he's crazy enough to try it.
    funny thing happens now , if I touch any light in the house it comes on
    strange

    anywho , looked at monitor again today and couldn't see anything that looked bad ,
    Only thing found was like this ;

    so I re-solder'ed it and hooked it up and tried it a few times
    so far its fine , will see what happens when it sits overnight and try it .

    As I tried( )to explain earlier it was only dead when off for awhile ,
    once it came on when PC started it was fine until PC is shutdown like overnight .

    edit:
    just tried it (been off 6 or 7 hrs) and kicked right on when PC started .

    will try again tomorrow

    Gotcha...like once the solder warmed up it's ok.

    I just like that bang bang emoticon and the other one I hadn't seen before so I figured I better throw it in there.

    Back on topic, I just bought a projector to run my pc screen thru. If I aim it out the window onto my neighbor's house I can get it to 240". That's any resolution I care to set it at too.

    I'm gonna put my Firefox on their house and just leave it there all night. After a few weeks I'll have the whole neighborhood using Firefox.
