funny thing happens now , if I touch any light in the house it comes on
strange
anywho , looked at monitor again today and couldn't see anything that looked bad ,
Only thing found was like this ;

so I re-solder'ed it and hooked it up and tried it a few times
so far its fine , will see what happens when it sits overnight and try it .

As I tried( )to explain earlier it was only dead when off for awhile ,
once it came on when PC started it was fine until PC is shutdown like overnight .
edit:
just tried it (been off 6 or 7 hrs) and kicked right on when PC started .
will try again tomorrow

Gotcha...like once the solder warmed up it's ok.
I just like that bang bang emoticon and the other one I hadn't seen before so I figured I better throw it in there.
Back on topic, I just bought a projector to run my pc screen thru. If I aim it out the window onto my neighbor's house I can get it to 240". That's any resolution I care to set it at too.

I'm gonna put my Firefox on their house and just leave it there all night. After a few weeks I'll have the whole neighborhood using Firefox.
