CD-ROM can't be installed by hardware wizard
Hi. I'm having problems with my CD-ROM drive. I am using a compaq presario 5000 running windows 2000 professional. My CD-RW drive works fine. I can boot from my CD-ROM drive but it says my e:\ drive is inaccessible, incorrect function. Also, my computer always detects it as a new PCI device but can't locate the drivers for it, not even on the Win2k cd. I just started getting this problem yesterday when I was trying to install a new video card into an available PCI slot. Please help quick! Thanks in advance.
