[RESOLVED] Windows Logo Distorted
Anyone had problems with the Windows 98 start logo being distorted at startup. Everything else runs fine. I have a tyan s1598 mainboard, amd k62-500, 128 mb ram, and a diamond viper II video card. I tried replacing the logo file, changing the video bios cache setting in setup, updated drivers for the card. Help !

I just removed the logo ... edit the MSDOS.SYS file and second to last item and put in
Logo=0
Make sure you remove the read only attrit. then put it back on

I suggest you change hard disk controller driver to the one came with your motherboard. I had similar problem when using native IDE driver in Windows 98 with Asus V3400TNT video card in a VIA chipset.
