    Resolved [RESOLVED] ie5

    Am running Win98 SE and constatntly get an error message. When details tab clicked the message is as follows:

    IEXPLORE caused an invalid page fault in
    module KERNEL32.DLL at 0167:bff7b416.

    Have upgraded to IE 5.01 and am still getting the same problem.

    Try upgrading to the latest version - 5.01. That might fix your problem.

    And try running system file checker.

    Go to your SYSTEM IMFORMATION, to the tool tab, and then scroll down to the INTERNET EXPLOROR REPAIR TOOL! And also do the SYSTEM FILE CHECKER for a corrupted file.

    got http://www.98lite.net and download IEradicator. Then after IE5 is gone you can re-install it from one of those freebie CDs that seem to come in the mail weekly.
