CDR not working after Win 98 re-install
CD burner was working fine until I had to reformat my C drive over the weekend. I re-installed Windows 98. Everything is fine except I can't get my CD burner to run. i.e. it is no longer recognized as my G drive
TECH STUFF
Windows 98 (don't now exactly what version but it's the same as I've been running on the before I reformatted hard drive)
Panasonic 7592B CDR Recorder (got it new in 2000)
Adaptec 1510 SCSI adaptor
THIS IS HOW I'VE TRIED TO GET IT TO WORK
In Win 98 run Add Hardware. My Adaptec AHA-150X/1510/152X/AIC-6X60 SCSI Host Adapter is listed, but with that little yellow circle beside it. I select my Adaptec as "the device I would like to install" and I click next.
WIN 98 WIZARD MESSAGE
This device is already installed but it has a problem. To view properties for the device and to see the problem and proposed solution click finish.
I click finish and recieve the following message:
Windows could not identify all the resources this device uses. (Code 16) To specify additional resources for this device, click the Resources tab and fill in the missing settings. Check your hardware documentation to find out what settings to use.
I click the tab and I see where I can enter the Adapter Settings but I have no idea what settings to use???
I hope I've given enough information- any help would be appreciated. Thank you. May the force be with me.

Way over my head!
Wow, rocket science. Okay, I'll try. Which instructions should I follow? Option one for the non-PnP host Adapter or
Option two for the installation of PNP/PCI host adapter
(I'm assuming a miniport driver and cd burner driver same thing?)

I think option 2. It's not actually the driver for your CDR, it's for the adapter that it's connected to.

You might try just using the page to put the right settings in. I believe they are on there.
Actually, they are on this sub page.
