video cd
Hi, I have tried several times to copy video files to cds and each time after I burned one file, I can not copy any more files to that disk, it keeps coming back as disk full, put in a new disk or words to that effect, even though the file already burned may be only 5 or 10 mb. how do I copy more files??.
I am using a 52x32x52 burner and nero 6ultra. I have tried looking at the nero manuals and can't find any reference to my problem. Thanks

What size are the video files and what format are you burning them in?

I would guess that this is just a matter that you are 'Finalising' the CD when writing to it. De-select this option and you will then be able to write to it until the CD is full.

total space used is 2.5mb as an mpeg file.
D1bbl suggested not finalizing it and deselecting that option, how do you do that in Nero6?

If you use Nero Burning ROM, on any of the compilation options, select the Burn tab, and uncheck Finalize CD....
If you use Nero Express, after selecting the files you want to burn and clicking Next, you get to a menu called Final Burn Settings. Click More>>>, and in the extended window, you will find the section for Write Method. uncheck Finalize disk.

If you are burning them as vcd or svcd then it is the length of the movie that is important.
Could you describe exactly what steps you are taking to burn these files in nero?

Ok , thats the problem ,
you need to pick how ever many files you want all together (in the left window) to go on a CD ,
you can only burn one at a time by using a CD-RW disk an select 'Multisession'
then you can do one at a time (like one now , then one tomorrow or next week and when ever)
Cd-R's are write once an thats it .
