Political Test
How do you know when a politician is lying??
When his lips are moving. For a guy whose family has never been middle class, who himself has no clue what middle class is, to spew all that crap about trying to rally the middle class. If you believe it, you should not be allowed to vote.
With me, it's not a Democrat or Republican thing. We gave Bush four years to do his thing. Give him four more, and the world will see, right or wrong, that we mean business.
No really meaningful repies are expected, as by this time, Techs is burning through two or three keyboards, starting 14 or 100 threads on this.
Politics blows. Elect Cleetus supreme dictator.

The idea that if you are not from the middle class you can't champion the middle class is cr*p. And FYI Bush comes from a richer family.
Give him 4 more years after screwing up for 4 more years? Nonsense.
Give him 4 more years and the world will see, right or wrong, that we mean business is beneath contempt. That we should be wrong for 4 more years and the world will see we mean business? Do you mean that they will react and do everything in their power to distance themselves, band together to screw us, allow terrorists to continue to operate because world leaders will be elected by populations that hate the US.
thank you for time.
And be sure to check out my new signature. Inspired by the stupidest, out of touch President since Herbert Hoover.

You know, up until about now, I've barely tolerated you. You must be suffering from a lack of meds. You feel a personal spite everytime someone does not agree with your views. Your opinion is not the only one that matters. And it may just not be the right one.
I don't feel my opionions are crap. Nor nonsense. Nor are my ideas beneath contempt.. Thank you for time? No, thank you for your time.
Since you cannot rationally reply to someone's views that don't match your own, I would ask that you put me on your ignore list.

Techs, he has a point. I hate Bush as much as anyone else does but if you don't tone down the holycrusadier-than-thou a little bit then all you accomplish is looking like a Republican provocateur.
Take a lesson from your most effective opponent here, Ya_Know. He's evil, sure, but he almost never lets anyone rattle his cage, so he makes evil sound reasonable to the undecided. Isn't that a talent you deserve too? You should try to cultivate it.

As far as giving him 4 more years to prove himself right or wrong.
Two wrongs do not make a right.
Kerry gave a strong reasoned speech with brave ideas. Hell, he even showed a personality.

The plain fact of the matter is just this: If you want to be President of the USA, then you are a crook. If not at the beginning, you will be long before you get any sort of nomination from either of the big two political parties.
They are all a bunch of lying thieves, and they mean you no good at all. Money and power is what it is all about for these people, and any thing else is smoke and mirrors to distract you from the real agenda: Money and Power.
Most people are sheep. Think not? Observe ANY mob.
Do I sound cynical? You bet I do
If only you knew what's inside of me now,
You wouldn't want to know me, somehow.

I've always maintained that was Jimmy Carter's problem! He is a "good man" it was just his um...cohorts at the time that were the hosers (family included except for Rosalynn and Amy)!
Hey Tekboy ya otta see my neighborhood here in Eagle River!!! About a quarter of the folks have their campaign signs out and so far it's about 50/50 Lisa Murkowski - Tony Knowles. The most interesting are my across the street neighbors. The folks on the left are for Knowles and the folks on the right are for Murkowski. Hmmm I guess there is some sort of symmetry there. It's going to be an interesting few months.
I only post using 100% recycled electrons!!!
Stay on the bomb run, boys. I'm going to get them doors open if it hair lips everybody on Bear Creek.

I did not attack you personally. Nor ALL your ideas. I did state that the idea that you suggested,
"Give him four more, and the world will see, right or wrong, that we mean business."
is beneath contempt.
Let me explain what that meant to me. Even if we are wrong about Iraq keep our troops their to die? Even if we struck at the wrong enemy lets keep killing so the world will see we will strike and kill even the wrong targets if we are attacked. By definition attacking and killing when you are in the wrong is murder.
And that is the idea I find beneath contempt.
And any idea that begins and ends with my country murdering people when we are "wrong" to show the world we "mean business" is just about as bad as it gets.

Less than 1000 troops in 2 years...sure, that's 2000 parents that have sacrificed, and countless spouses and children, but that number pales to the hell you are trying to portray in Iraq. We are making a difference, we have made a difference, and regardless of the outcome of the election, Kerry or Bush will have to see this through, which means leaving troops there until it isn't needed anymore. Bottom line here, we have lost a few lives, but we’ve accomplished plenty!
Also, a thank you to the coalition forces that were there from the beginning, and an extra thank you to those that are still there.
