    nope, still says 'microsoft kernel audio splitter' with a little yellow !...

    i must be the dumbest, or the smartest person in the world. i fixed my sound problem by just erasin all those (!) drivers, and letting them reinstall themselves. i hear music. heh. thank u everyone for ur help.
