monitors--power used?
How many watts does a CRT monitor use, compared to an LCD?

have a look here It can also depend on the refresh rate and resolution on the crt - I came across a cached page - someone had checked the power consumption readout from a ups at various resolutions/refresh rates. Basically the higher the refresh the more power consumed on a CRT monitor.
