    Post shortcut

    i delete some programs the other day,and now
    when i boot-up my computer.i get the message
    Promblem with shortcut
    the item E_SRCVO3.exe that this shortcut refers to has been moved or changed.the
    nearest match in size is C:\windows\system\cfgwiz.exe.do you want this shortcut to point to this item Yes or No
    How can i stop this message from showing up?

    check your startup group items to see if its starting with windows....
    search your win.ini, system.ini for any references to the file and delete it
    search the registry for any reference to the file...just becareful and back up the registry first

    Delete the shortcut item (Icon) from your desktop. If you deleted the program then the Icon you placed on your desktop is now invalid, thats what the message is saying.
