Win2K and Win98 are 2 different OS, Win2K is for a Network and Win 98 for a single user. (even though you can network win98)
You will need to reistall W2K back to your original configuration, then creat a second HD (partition) and install win 98 on it, this will allow you to run 2 different OS.
Question though? Which Win98 are you useing? Why do you want both W2k and 98?

If you install win98 after installing win2k, just insert your win2k setup disk and let it chundle away and after all four disks have been asked for just select the repair ezisting installation. You will them get the boot selection option. This will only work if you installed win98 to a different directory than the win2k installation. As for everyone sayiong that you need to install the OS's on different partitions, I am currently running 3 different OS's (Win2k Pro, Win98 & WinMe) and apps on one partition (FAT32) with no problems at all!! As long as you reinstall the apps for each OS (I always install them to the same dirrecorys for all 3) you don't use up any more disk space than is needed for the one installation!!!!
Win2k is not just for networking so I don't know where people get that from??
I use WinNT 4 Server on my other system with NT4 Workstation installed as well on the same partition!!!!!! Why do people say that they don't work together on the same partition????? I have no problems at all.
