    Hijacked Modem ....

    I have accepted a modem drive Instalation and since then I lost cotrol over my modem. Are there any suggessions in this matter?

    Don't mind Ya_know, he suffers from PMT, but he is right, we are unable to help with the information you have given so far.

    We need to know:
    Dialup, Cable or DSL connection?
    What modem make and model?
    What windows version?
    What do you mean by "lost control"?

    I have a sneaking suspicion you mean you have been hacked or are running a dialler that you cannot disable... am I close?
