Plus the stock market didn't move for 3.5 years. So what is Bush excuse for that? And his plan for "economic growth"? After three years, nothing. But we do have record deficits. BTW anyone notice jobs creation has tanked? The estimate is 32,000. but they reduced the previous two month estimates. So we might amazingly have lost jobs again this month.

Ever notice that when Bush takes credit for the smallest bit of good economic news some people never want to let you forget it. But when you bring up the overwhelming failures of his economic policy they say its not his fault or that you are trying to blame Bush for everything?
Lets face it Bush has failed the country miserably in the economic area. He is basically on a road to ruin.
It's time to dump him and save our country.

However, on the Energy side of things, if it's such a "global problem", then why oh why does the world wait for the US to attempt a solution?

I haven't heard of any great strides being made toward Fusion Power from the UK, or cheap/reliable solar power from the Canucks, for example.

If the US is so bad, then let another country solve the issue for themselves, and let us wallow in our own problems; or be the "big man" and share the discovery with all.

We've solved fusion power and been using it for years now. We just don't like to share. Excuse me for a while, I'm just going to teleport to Scotland for a night out.

Fusion is not the solution, as far as I know. But I'm willing to see science contradict me.

And Europe is rather famous for attempting to use alternative energy sources. As for Canada, we have MUCH stricter pollution laws than the US does, much less pollution...

Plus, the USA is the home of most of the major car manufacturers, and much bigger polluting industries than we have up here too.

Again, not bashing Americans --but yes, bashing your gov't and big business...
