Arrest warrants for Ahmnan Chalabi.
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp...rrest_warrants
BAGHDAD, Iraq - Iraq (news - web sites) has issued an arrest warrant for Ahmad Chalabi, a former governing council member, on counterfeiting charges and another for Salem Chalabi, the head of Iraq's special tribunal, on murder charges, Iraq's chief investigating judge said Sunday.
This was the guy Bush relied on for evidence of WMD. This is the guy who said the Iraqis would welcome us with open arms. This is the guy Bush invited and pointed out during his State of the Union leading up to the war. This is the guy who said who cares how we got the Americans here, we got them here.
Just like you can find someone to say Kerry was not a hero the Bushes found someone to tell them what they wanted to hear.
Didn't anyone even consider this guy fled Jordan when he was indicted for embezzlement before believing him?
Another great Bush judgement call,...NOT.

Hey...that's all par for the course. There is bound to be corruption in the middle of a combat/reconstruction area. The fact that the new government is doing everything it can to uphold true justice is an encouraging thing. I am rather pleased myself.
