dvd-rom is stopping plaing movies
I run system :
Asus A7N8X delux
Athlon 2800+
512 MB
Antec box and power supply
Liteon dvd/ cdrw
Plextor dvd+-rw
Win XP Pro
All updates to windows are current.
When I try to play dvd, most on beggining, later less, movie is stopping or like old records, reapitting 2 or 3 times (both; video and sound). These movies are fine on my 3 other computers. One which create problems is newest ones. I update all drivers (also ASPI) I checked power supply, Windows update. Now I have no idea what else to check or change. Any help willl be apriciated

Welcome to Windrivers jkusina
Have you checked the processes in task manager and looked at what it taking up all the cpu time? You may have a case of spyware
You did not say what your video card is and what driver version you are using.

Well, I do not see bigger difference between all computers about running processes. My video card is ATI ATW 9800 Pro 128 MB with up to date driver. Card is connected to TV but after I disconnected S-video cable problem is the same. I run Adaware 6 every day and Windowasher so I do not think it could be spyware. I will try on weekend connect one dvd drive to primary IDE channel from secondary one but I'm not sure if this can help.
Thanks for any word of help

jkusina, I wasn't asking you to compare processes, I was asking what process took up the most cpu.
You still haven't said what windows you are running.
Adaware 6 does not pick up every instance of spyware even if it is completely updated and windowwasher merely deletes files that are not in use.
here are suggestions on how to check for spyware they include adaware and a number of other utilities.
