The Post Office has changed the rule that only dead people can be on stamps. Then they authorized stamps.com to ALLOW ANYONE TO SEND IN A PICTURE AND GET IT PUT ON LEGAL, USABLE U.S. STAMPS. All you do is upload the picture to stamps.com
You can also choose anything else for the pictures. See samples from stamps.com below
A sheet (20) of stamps with your picture costs about 10 more than face value.
