You gonna do the TF with us on Saturday Klarg?
Probably not, as I spend most of my time over on Virtue, since some of my RL buddies are on there. Besides, Klarg is only L6 or 7, and won't be able to go on a TF yet.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR POSITRON TF:
Toons will need to be levels 11 to 16.
11 is required for Boomtown, and level 17 cannot enter the TF at all.
Does everyone who wants to participate have a character in that range?
Also, even though the stated time is 3 hours, that is a minimum. Some have reported 8 hours.
I will supply my tanker, hopefully at lvl 16 by Saturday.

I haven't a single character in this range. F***.
Aumakua is lvl 17. Dynamo is 21. Roentengen is still 7 and I don't think I'm getting her to 10 soon.
Whos all going anyway?? Is it just all of us with the high level characters? If so lets do the skyway mission.

Yes, make sure you are at least 11, as the Boomtown mission is early on. The one I am in right now had it as the first mission. My group consists of 2 scrappers and 5 defenders, and we are about 1/2 way through after 3 hours.

I think Skyway would most likely be it then.
Major Blaze won't be available Saturday, unless inept has switched his schedule around in such a way as to make himself available, so let's not plan for his presence.
That would mean one less blaster though... should we consider adding another melee like Carbonado from the SG? Buzzerbeater can definitely handle his own, but adding more firepower would most probably reduce the TF's time.
I just realized that this will mean that I will not be able to do Positron's TF at all with Stalemate (lvl too high afterwards), which is a shame too, considering the clocks drop some good enh for tech toons.
Time to start up my blaster character I guess.

Here's an idea,..
We pick a TF that we can all participate in. Then if we need others, we look to the SG and pick those that we know will fit with the TF. If not,.. then we broadcast a message telling exactly what we are looking for. Then we go do it.
Btw,.. if Carb is online and if he is willing, then he would definately be a good asset to bring along. Or possibly Haversham? Lets see who's online that morning and go with that.

That makes Synapse's TF the one then, being the only one ILTU could have a character participate in.
I'll say right up front, after reading up the Synapse TF Guide, that I will most probably be concentrating the aggro most of the time and not dealing out a whole lot of damage. Stalemate can take a lot of damage (right, Buzz? ) so that's OK with me.
I may be able to disorient some foes when mobs are confronted, now that I can use that tactic more effectively by disorienting multiple foes instead of wiping out just the one target. But for bringing down mobs we'll need a healer and/or controller along for sure - and not just to keep Stale alive - along with the damage dealers.
This will be some fun.

I've done this TF 1.5 times (the second time the leader quit half-way). The first time was easy and we were a mix of 17 to 19. The secret? Three defenders: Empath for a reliable group heal, Kinetics (me) for Speed Boosts and Siphon Power plus an occasional heal, and Force Field for protection. One controller for minor crowd control and some minor healing in the back, 2 blasters (one with smoke grenades and caltrops) and 2 scrappers. Every single segment of the TF went well and with good teamwork we rocked!

Don't worry.
I'll get my own blaster started up and then he'll be ready for whatever other character you have available for Positron's Task Force in a couple of weeks. I really want to do that one too.

Isn't this game the coolest? It reminds me of back when I was a kid and I used to play with action dolls (Transformers, GI Joe, Star Wars, etc.) I remember setting up all my dolls and pretending that they did battle. I even made some still frame animation videos of them with an old Sony Handycam (back in the day) to try to at least make them somewhat animated. I always wished they could move around and stuff and now with CoH, they can. It's a dream come true that I've been waiting 31 years for. Action dolls rule!
