50's - 70's Music
I've always liked older music (old to me anyway) but here lately I've been on this trip where all I want to listen to is oldies, especially older Brit and hippie music.
I want to know all of your favorite tunes from this era.

50's nothing much - Buddy Holly is about it
60's. Now here's an era for progressive music.. The Byrds, The Beatles, the Who... best of all.. The Kinks
70's The Clash, the Sex Pistols, 999, Siouxsie and the Banshees, anything punk. Desmond Decker for those "suedehead" types. Not much into the Rock part of the 70's to be honest, but '79 was the "Mod revival" with scooters, sharp suits and The Jam
Sh!t, I need to buy an iPod or something now

That's a good choice but I'd say Sabbath Vol. 4.
I still go literally nuts whenever I hear the third movement of "Wheels of Confusion"
