I support John Kerry for the presidential election

Today I registered to vote at www.sccvote.org by printing out a form, filling it out and faxing it. I will then recieve my absentee ballot in the mail.

I also signed up to be a volunteer for John Kerry. I registered my name, address, phone number, etc. Soon, he is going to provide me with information on how to reach out to voters on the phone. I chose Employment/jobs, environment and foreign policy as the issues I am most interested in.

So my question is this: In what ways are you (a potential American voter) contributing to your candidate?

I'm gonna vote for him. Also, if he is feeling sad and needs someone to cheer him up, I am willing to provide my home telephone number and allow him to call me once per month for no more than 15 minutes per call, lasting for the entire time he is in office.

Why would he only be in office for 15 minutes?

So are you going to volunteer some of your time too?

I am going to feed, bath and put to bed my children every single night, and provide a roof over their head. By the time story time is over in my house I am usually so tired that I don't even have energy to bang my wife let alone clean up the house...I do it anyway for the good of the country, yet the cleanliness of my house is suffering, but that’s another story..

If you expect me to put forth some of my time and perhaps my money towards any candidate...you must be crazy...

Being as I am not American and can't vote, my plan is to instead try to annoy those forces I consider MORE evil than the other side by continuing to call attention to logical and ethical weaknesses in their records and platforms...

    contributing to your candidate?
First off, I want to commend you on your awareness and participation in our system. Though I disagree with your choice on winners, it is refreshing to see someone participating in more than casual discussion.

That said, I am a registered Republican and have volunteered to assist both my local county office and the next county over. I manned the Republican party booth, entertaining questions and handing out literature at the County Fair.

Every day whilst performing my actual job, I encourage people to register to vote w/out mentioning my affiliation (unless they ask). As much as I fear seeing Kerry get elected (shudder) I would be more proud to see our voter turnout double or tripple (all voters, not just Repubs).

I do more, but I would take the next few pages to write about it.

I actually voted for John Kerry, before I voted against him.

From an earlier WinDrivers thread: Register to Vote!

    Some rather interesting comments there.

I wouldn't vote for Kerry or Bush even if they were the only 2 on the ballot.

    I have spoken my preference...

That being said I might be opened to offers. Send cash or money orders to:

    Buy My Vote
    C/O Buy My Vote Inc.

    Chicken, Alaska 99733

Any denomination bills will be accepted.
