    Question AMD 64 Asus V8k Integrated Audio - Voice audio is Distorted?!

    I have a AMD 64 3400+ running Windows XP with SP2, my mother board is an ASUS V8k with an integrated sound card running SoundMAX.

    I've updated my bios to the latest version as well as the SoundMax audio drivers.

    My problem:
    - Voice audio for music mp3s and video is now (all of a sudden) distorted... sound is slow and like its underwater when played in Media Player or DivxPlayer.

    As far as I know it was fine before.
