Post ATI all in wonder RADEON and game play problems

I have a 32meg ATI all in wonder RADEON. I am running win2k pro, and am having a problem with Star Trek Voyager Elite Force multiplayer. I have all the updates for the vid card, game, and directx. here is my problem. after installation I run the multiplayer game. After CD-KEY is put in, it will ask for you to set the brightness. well the brightness stick will move from left to right, but the brightness, or lack their of will remain the same. with the single player I can adjust it all i need too. just in multiplayer I have the problems.

BTW Star Trek Voyager ELite Force runs off of the Quake III engine.

That's pretty weird, if you are having problems with the brightness you could go to the display properties and adjust the brightness there
