Word 97 dictionary
Anyone know what file contains the dictionary info for Word Spellchecking?

I would have to think it was in C:\windows\application Data\microsoft\proof\custom.dic . If the system uses profiles, it would be in the profiles (or documents and settings in win2k), under the users name...then application data\proof\custom.dic

Good call MacGyver. The .lex and .dll files got currupted from a 3rd party spellchecker. Replaced them. Thanks.

No problem, You're welcome!
BTW, to follow up on the post by Ya_know, the custom.dic is only the user dictionary (the place that words go when you ADD them during the spellchecks.)
