Exclamation Which is the better sound card ?

Well i have a sound blaster live card on my pci slot im pretty sure its 16 bit.
Got a new mother board and it has a onboard sound chip on it, mother board is a gigabyte GA-7N400 Pro2 and the on board sound is a realtek ALC650 codec.
Just wondering which is the better one to use any help would be appreciated thnaks .

So welcome to wndrivers forums gigroll

Performance wise there's probably not much between the two, with the sb infront just infront (CT4830 is apparently a sblive 5.1 OEM which would generally be faster than some onboard chip wired to the isa controller, but on nforce it goes straight to northbridge), but given how terrible the drivers & bloatware are for sb cards full stop, so personally I'd think the onboard will be better by a way..

Got to try, I guess, to prove it
