Win ME dial up network settings
Just wondering if anyone knows where ME stores the settings for your dial up connection.
I have a system that we did a backup and a reinstall on and now they want their dialup settings put back, but have no idea what they are. I know I could just call the ISP, but this is way quicker than waiting on hold for 15 minutes.

I think they are stored in the registry, but not sure where, and if they are encrypted or not.

Not sure about ME, but you might look in HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ RemoteAccess for a start. Look under profile or addresses.

That is exactly where they are. Unfortunatly I can't access it from the new install of xp home on the customers system. I guess next time he will ask before he says to go ahead with a clean install.
