Those are the premium blend shirts!
Seriously though I was in Nordstrom's in Anchorage a few weeks ago and they had Izod/Lacoste clothes and I was thinkin' to myself that I hadn't seen any 'gator shirts in years. But I tell ya they was some pricey shirts.

I think I may have a few of those in closet somewhere- had them since the 80's.
I never throw anything out.

Yeah, I never throw out anything either, and I've also got some I've had since the 80s.
Only problem is I was like 8 years old at the time...they don't fit very well anymore.
There's no Lacoste retailer near me, but I found a ton of them on ebay. Now I just gotta sort through sizes and colors and find an easily snipable auction. Kickass.
BTW, I was out in Old Town tonight on a date, and I saw this guy walking down the street wearing one of the aligator polo shirts. I seriously thought about kicking his *** and taking the shirt off his back.

Nothing. Really.
Back in the 80s, the brand name Lacoste was used in Canada. I don't recall ever seeing Izod anywhere.
So... All you polo shirt lovers are into horses and golf, huh?

As I understand it, here in the US LaCoste partnered up with Izod to distribute the shirts in the states. The partnership ended several years ago, and that's why they've become nearly impossible to find stateside.
I just like aligators.

You can find Alligator shirts, right next to the Members Only jackets.

You may want to consider this little item:

BTW: I like Izod shirts, too, and I even wear a few. In fact, I wear nothing but "polo/golf" shirts. Haven't had to wear a tie in years.

I know what you mean. I loved those shirts (my dad used to wear those shirts when he played golf).

All this talk of alligator shirts reminds me of KangaROO's shoes and Cabbage Patch Kids and Diff'rent Strokes and Rubiks Cube and Pac-Man and Atari 2600 and stuff.

How about those Big Hair bands, like Flock of Seagulls and the Romantics? Or, the Gargoyle sunglasses?
