Burnout 3 = Awesome

I know this is primarily PC gaming..but i think there are a few console gamers here too.

I picked up Burnout 3 for XBOX the other day, and it is amazing. It is by far the best racing game i have ever played. (it has been getting awesome reviews everywhere...and several gaming mags are naming it the best arcade racer ever made)

The sense of speed is unmatched...F-Zero GX on the gamcube is the only game that even comes close. You cant beat the feeling of driving 150mph down the oncoming lane through the city. dodgine cars and other vehicles, and wrecking your oponents. it is just awesome....i was about to be passed last night by one of the AI racers..we were racing side by side for a little while..dodging traffic...and just as he went to pass me...i forced him over and sent him slamming into the back of a big rig, which i missed by a few inches....very satisfying.

the crash mode is awesome. you start out on an short stretch of road...approaching a busy intersection...you then have to go as fast as possible, and cause the biggest wreck that you possibly can. it rates your crash by the amount of damage cause..you have to get higher than a preset score to get the gold medal and move on to the next level...it is so much fun

It is out for XBOX and PS2 now..and will be for gamecube in a few months. if you have one of these consoles..you need this game. The xbox version has better textures,better framerates..and support for custom soundtracks.(the music they include pretty much blows...so the xbox version is so much better, just for the fact that you can use your own music)

Played it at my buddy's place on friday. WOW. Nothing cooler than bullet time crashes that let you control your car in mid air while it is in flames. So many cool new vehicles too. I can't wait until he unlocks the firetruck and the semi with trailer for the crash game.

Co-op crash mode is pretty fun too.

i have been playing it alot lately..and i love it. i have unlocked over 20 cars already..and all kinds of new courses. i cant beleive how ruthless the competition is..they are just mean. which just makes crashing them that much more fun. there isnt much cooler than racing side by side with someone and at the last minute, forcing them over into the back end of a big rig as you narrowly miss it by a few inches.

im really suprised there isnt a PC version also..this game is amazing...way better than the first two

I am so freakin pissed of that there is no PC version of this game I cant see straight. I cant believe this!! Who's responsible for this travesty?!?

SO I guess I need to go out and spend $200+ on an XBox and the game? Its not fair I tell you. Just not fair!

you should have an xbox anyway...they are great to have. especially with the great lineup of games on the way.
