Re-install Norton SystemWorks
After a windows systemcrash (and formatting and clean install of W98), Norton SystemWorks cannot be installed anymore, it just hangs during installation of Norton Utilities. Anyone suggestions?

Are you sure you want it back! No, thats just my personal opinion! Well check out Nortons site and read the support sections, may be some luck. Close down everything else running and if i remember correctly Norton Software uses the Windows Installer, which often has to be updated before you can install (crazy bugs), ive seen that before myself where a norton product wanted a newer version of the Windows Installer. Hmm Hmm

No, I'm not sure if I want it back, but what alternatives are there for Utilities? Symantec does not support older versions like 2.0

Did you run a Windows update after your clean install?

You'll want to pass on the system updates because Microsoft was sending out the fun love virus with one of it's security updates the past two weeks. If you have a mainboard with a VIA chipset, you'll want to go to viahardware.com and get the latest 4-in-1 drivers. Then install Norton Antivirus.
When you install system works, I'd recommend doing a custom install selection and selecting onlythe anti-virus program. The rest of the utilities programs always seem to have conflicts with Windows and other programs.
