Need some taskScheduler Advice
TaskSchedule is set to run defrag and scandisk on all systems and says the tasks were completed yet the drive properties show that neither have been done in almost two years. Now I don't typically use task Scheduler. But I am new and I keep getting that the Last tech swore by task Scheduler. If anyone has had similar issues of task Scheduler saying that it has completed the task yet doesn't really any extra input would be appreciated.

Aren't you talking about task scheduler?
Task manager is that thing that you get by right clicking on the task bar...

He edited the original post? I can't see where it says task manager.
Anyways, task scheduler is a good way to get routine maintenance done, but you need to make sure that you get all the settings for each task done right or they don't run, but task scheduler only knows about starting things so it thinks its done it.

Yes I edited it sorry for the confusion. The real problem is that tasks are saying that they are completed when they are not. Searched microsofts knowledge base both ms and msdn and while i've seen this happen alot I could not find anything through MS.

it probably ran, but task scheduler pretty much sucks....it is probably not posting to the drive properties that it has been done

Change the event time so you can watch it start, does it update the drive info after its done? I don't know for sure that it actually changes the how long since indicator unless you do it(rather than windows if you get my drift..).
