Need to fix errors in my web-based uploads...

    Hi there,

Ok, this is been bugging me for a very long time and I have reach to a point where it's getting really annoyiing. I don't know why, I keep getting times out everytime I upload some very big, usually say like 500k to 1 MB file, using my computer. Maybe it's how it's configured, but I know it's now the server. I upload files at my college with no problem, but using my computer, I got this error (dead page) and the upload wasn't sucessful.

Geocities have this problem on certain file size, especially 200k images. It works fine for 50k images size. The thing I need to use more is to upload digital images that are 1.2-1.4 MB in size (full quality). Everytime I upload it, in any print shop online, it kills. I usually have to compress it to 150k in order to upload it using my computer, which brings bad images prints.

How do I fix this? Check my router? My computer? I even try lowing the security setting, accepting all cookies to even reinstalling my entire computer to reinstall the router (and it doesn't have a firewall). What now?
